Ever wished you can just start over whenever you make a mistake? Well that’s exactly how the protagonist Subaru lives his life after the occurrence of a strange phenomenon while living his normal life. However, his way of starting over isn’t as amazing as it may seem since he has to die in order to trigger the restart.

The plot begins after he is teleported to a fantasy world inhabited by witches, mages, etc. His life basically turned to a video game, just as when you die in a story based game you go back to your last checkpoint. The exact concept runs his current world. He has to solve quests, find the right people, and make correct decisions in order to reach the next checkpoint. This isn’t very easy especially for Subaru, since any wrong decision can cost him his life and thus automatically starting over again.

Re:Zero is by far one of the best animes that premiered in the spring of 2016. It is a light novel based anime and is an ongoing anime with currently 22 of the 25 episodes it’s suppose to have. The anime itself has an awesome plot that will definitely keep you on your feet throughout the whole season. It also sparkles in creativity within the characters, there will be funny, sad, horrific, and adorable times. The artwork is also very well designed where every character blossoms in color. It is rated 8.75 out of 10 and is ranked 34 out of thousand and thousands of animes in myanimelist. com.

What makes Re:Zero stand out from all the other animes is its unpredictable plot and just how it can causes its audience to feel mixed emotions. It’s not like other animes where you can literally predict what’s going to happen next just based on the how to story is progressing. It’s also definitely not something that’s just straight out romance, drama, comedy, or horror. Re:zero is one that can nicely execute transitions from romance to drama to horror without it being a mess.

Overall, Re:zero is definitely one that will not disappoint and will always be one of those that will be on the top few.
