Biden’s Plans For the Future

Democrat nominee Joe Biden has won the presidential race after securing Pennsylvania. Now that he is president-elect, Joe Biden has many plans he wants to implement during his tenure in office.

Eighth grader Kristine Del Rosario says, “I think the fact that Biden won is a really big thing, and there’s going to be some good changes now that he’s going to be president. Biden is definitely going to make America better than it is now, I feel that he’s going to lead America to a better place.”

Kristine Del Rosario thinks Biden would make a fine president. She says Biden would make good choices. Del Rosario is confident that he will make America better than under Donald Trump’s presidency. She also believes that it was a big deal that he won.

Joe Biden has many plans on certain things and one of them being about the COVID-19 pandemic.

British Broadcasting Corporation states, “Joe Biden wants to provide free testing for all and hiring 100,000 people to set up a national contact-tracing program.” The British Broadcasting Corporation also adds, “He says he wants to establish at least 10 testing centers in every state, call upon federal agencies to deploy resources and give firmer national guidance through federal experts. He says all governors should mandate wearing masks.”

Eight grader Salvador Nunez says, “I think Biden winning was a great thing for the United States. I think he has amazing plans on being president because they actually benefit something. Personally I think Biden is a loving person since he cares about us and supports the LGBQT+ community.”

Salvador Nunez thinks Biden winning will have a positive effect on America. He thinks Biden has excellent plans on taking action. Nunez also believes he cares about us all no matter what gender we are.

Another main topic Joe Biden is focusing on is jobs and economic recovery for working families.

“Joe Biden has a plan to create millions of good-paying jobs and to give America’s working families the tools, choices, and freedom they need to build back better,” according to joebiden.com. “Provide state, local, and tribal governments with the aid they need so educators, firefighters, and other essential workers aren’t being laid off. Extend COVID crisis unemployment insurance to help those who are out of work. Provide a comeback package for Main Street businesses and entrepreneurs.”

Joe Biden also wants to take action on health care.

From joebiden.com, it explains that, “Biden will protect the Affordable Care Act from these continued attacks. He opposes every effort to get rid of this historic law – including efforts by Republicans, and efforts by Democrats. Instead of starting from scratch and getting rid of private insurance, he has a plan to build on the Affordable Care Act by giving Americans more choice, reducing health care costs, and making our health care system less complex to navigate.”

Time will tell whether or not Joe Biden will implement his plans in the coming years, but people are glad that he became elected as the 46th President of the United States.
