Outer Banks has released their continuation of their show by releasing their new season. The series is based on this group of teenagers who continue their quest to find these hidden treasures and merchants. Their journey had started off with their friend John B searching for his father, till it led him to something way bigger than just the search itself. As they come across multiple confrontations and battles, they were there for one thing only. Which was the finest richest of gold artifacts that are worth millions of dollars.
The recent series includes a continuation from season three, from El Dorado when the teenagers found the lost gold of the big merchant ship. They were able to return back and renovate their home as their first step to a better life and environment. Little did they know, they had got themselves trapped in another situation with their adventure for another lost piece of gold and encounter with unexpected guests for their home. The season remains to be fulfilled with questioned friendships, and more drama.
In this introduction of the new series, it opened up to the fact that the show gets more interesting, the more you stick with it. Although, I do think it is a little different now with some characters missing due to their deaths from the previous seasons. Some things that I enjoy about the season are the action displayed, for example they had filmed a scene underwater where they are fighting to get the gold piece that is worth $50k. I also like the drama between the new characters and old characters, where they cross paths and the tension that grows between them.
Within the Outer Banks season, they were able to release four seasons throughout the past years. Starting with their very first season released back in 2020, and now with their season five in the process of the making. With these new seasons, the directors have decided to split their upcoming seasons into two parts. Season four and five. Although it is questioned if they will be considering continuing the season afterwards.
Outer Banks is streaming on Netflix and is rated TV-MA. The show includes a series of violence, language, mature themes, and underage drinking. With that said, I would definitely recommend this series to those who are 15 years and older, who are also interested in drama and adventures.
