Arianna Thompson, an 11th grader at Rancho Dominguez, is a sprinter on this year’s track and field team.
“I have been running track for three years and plan to continue running; I really enjoy it. I really like to run and it is something that runs in my family,” she said.
Thompson has a natural talent for running as it runs in her family and she really enjoys it. Thompson has ran track since her freshman year and plans to continue running until her last year of high school.
“I run the 100, 200, and 400 meters and the 4×1 relay, and I can confidently say that I perform well in them all. I am most comfortable and confident in those races and I really enjoy running them,” she said.
Thompson runs the 100, 200, 400 meters and the 4×1 relay, and she really enjoys running those events. In those events she feels most assured, comfortable, and can perform her very best.
“I am really confident in this year’s track team. I think we are very good and I feel like we will make it to the championships,” she said.
Thompson is feeling really confident in this year’s team and thinks the team will make it as far as championships.
