Halloween is around the corner, and I’m sure lots of us are excited! Something fun that people always do on Halloween is enjoy horror movies. There’s lots of them to enjoy, and that means that there are lots of characters like Ghostface, Michael Myers, Chucky, Freddy Krueger, and more. Most of these killers are from movies that are rated R. I interviewed some students here at Rancho to find out their favorite movie killers.
Denesis Bonilla is a 6th grader here at Rancho. Her favorite movie killer is Ghost Face. “I like him because he is really cool even though I haven’t watched any of his movies. He still seems cool.”
Jacq Humphrey is a 6th grader here at Rancho. His favorite movie serial killer is Jason Voorhees. “He is one of the strongest serial killers and he doesn’t need to run to chase you to kill you, he can just teleport,” he said.
The 6th grader Jessie Franco said that he also likes Jason Voorhees because he doesn’t act scared. Franco said, “He doesn’t run away from them, he walks to them and he usually finds people easily.”
Stephanie Reynoso is a 9th grader here at Rancho, and her favorite movie killer is Michael Myers. “I grew up watching him because everytime in October on the weekends it will always be on the TV because my dad will always watch it.”
When the new Michael Myers movie comes out, Reynoso will go watch it with her family.
“He’s a classic; when you think about Halloween you probably think about Michael Myers and he never dies and he comes back with a challenge,” she said.
Ryelei Hinton’s favorite movie killer is Chucky because he is crazy like her. “He does wild stuff like killing people, and he’s short and I’m short too and he kills the big people.
