Our school Rancho Dominguez is welcoming a new teacher, Ms. Weems. She took over Ms. Trolesi’s job as a teacher, as she took a job as an instructional coach. A little bit about Ms. Weems is that in her free time, she likes to read books and rollerblade. Ms. Weems is also very active; she goes on walks and exercises every day.
We asked Ms. Weems what subject she teaches, and she said, ”I teach math and science and college ed.”
We asked her why she wanted to join the staff at our school.
She said, ”I worked at another school still in LAUSD, but it was far from my house. I then put in a transfer for this school that was closer. I got interviewed for this school, and I like the people and I like the job. Also, it was close to my house so it was a win-win.”
We’re glad she enjoys our community and that we are closer to her house since it led her to be hired.
We asked her how she felt about the school. She likes the school campus and thinks well of all of her co-workers. Ms. Weems is enjoying her welcome to Rancho Dominguez so far. She has a fondness for her new students and her new classes.
